We took a lot of videos from the weekend, so I am going to add them now even though I hesitate to detract from the AWESOME walking video I just posted. :)

For those of you keeping score...

Jack took his first step today - all by himself. Thanks to Isaac, Matt's work closed early and we were both here to see it. Jack was holding onto Matt's knee and reaching for his cup when he let go with both hands and stepped forward to grab the cup. Naturally, there is no video... yet.

Location, location, location!

We are getting a nice little pattern to our weekends which takes us to the beach pretty often. Today we stopped by on our way home from an early dinner - just because we could. It was pretty much 40 straight minutes of giggles and squeals.

A little video catch up

I can't share videos from my cell phone and I have very little non-work time to be on the computer (let alone desire) but there are some cute videos from the last few days that I have been meaning to post.

When Jack talks, I listen and say, "Really?" He started saying it back.

I want to play with my tractor. I also want to play with my turtle. What to do?

Okay, this one is not of Jack... but thanks to all the times we have taken Jack to Loggerhead Marinelife Center, we knew what to do when we came upon this little guy stuck on his back just a few feet from the shore.

Naps

Sometimes we wake up from our naps very happy (most times, really). Sometimes we wake up wanting to snuggle for a while and watch a little Elmo until we feel like we can face the day. These pictures are after both naps yesterday. You decide which is which.

1st Birthday Party 2.0

We re-scheduled the birthday party for yesterday since Jack was feeling better. Despite a few email invite mishaps, we had a great turnout and fun was had by all! Even the weather cooperated!

It was a busy afternoon and we hardly took any of our own pictures, but friends and family are sharing their pictures with us and I will post as we get them.
