Today has been a fantastic day so far. In the morning, Jack woke up to Miss Katie being here since Matt and I were sleeping in at the resort after celebrating our anniversary the day before. They finished up their holiday painting and had pancakes and bacon for breakfast.
(Miss Katie is THE best, in case you were wondering.)
The Easter Bunny brought a basket full of books and a new train for Jack, who quickly got going with the train.
When we got home, we packed ourselves back up and headed out for a beautiful mid-day Easter celebration thrown by some of Matt's co-workers.
There was an Easter Egg hunt:
And a lot of great food (and mimosas):
And then there was a petting zoo. A. petting. zoo.
He hugged that bunny.
And a few hours later, we headed home.
